Great product for the price, February 20, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Rhode Gear Highway 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (Sports) Bought this to go on our new suv, looked at many and settled on this one b/c amazon had it for [...] plus free shipping. It is a solid rack that holds 4 bikes. Really the only thing I found that makes this one different from other more expensive racks, is the "U" piece (top of the rack that your bike actually sits on) is solid, it will not fold down. I really don't care about that feature, If my bikes are not on the rack, I take the rack off our vehicle. If you are looking to leave your rack mounted to your vehicle, you may want to spend the extra money and buy one that folds down.

Damaged travel trailer on second trip, June 1, 2011 By TnT "teaves" (Arlington, Tx) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Rhode Gear Highway 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (Sports) The rack is built for the small receiver with an adapter for a two inch receiver hitch. The adapter is Plastic. This allows the bikes to bounce and move to the point of the handle bars damaging the rear of my travel trailer. If you have a 2 inch receiver do not buy this rack. The plastic adapter is junk. I am now spending money to replace the adapter with steel. Shop around there are racks with two inch tubes and no adapter required. Would not purchase again.
